MINUTES

Meeting was called to order at 10:00am by Chairperson Jon Mitchell.

Present: Jon Mitchell, Steve Autieri Esq., Chief Joel Pomfret, Kent Novak, Richard Holt

Motion was made to accept the minutes for the November 14, 2009 SAP Committee Meeting by Steven Autieri Esq. and seconded by Chief Pomfret.  The minutes passed as presented on a 5 – 0 vote.

Motion made by Kent Novak, seconded by Richard Holt to send the edited SAP 5216: District Correspondence to the Board of Directors for approval at the 1/28/10 BOD meeting.  Passed on a 5 – 0 vote.

Motion made by Kent Novak, seconded by Chief Pomfret to send the edited SAP 5211.10: Records and Documentation to the Board of Directors for approval at the 1/28/10 BOD meeting.   Passed on a 5 – 0 vote.

The committee placed SAP 5354: Equal Opportunity Policy and SAP 1110 Application Membership on hold.

Motion made by Richard Holt, seconded by Steven Autieri Esq. to send the edited SAP 5210: SAP ID Codes to the Board of Directors for approval at the 1/28/10 BOD meeting.  Passed on a 5 – 0 vote.

Motion made by Richard Holt, seconded by Steven Autieri Esq. to send the edited SAP 5210: SAP ID Codes to the Board of Directors for approval at the 1/28/10 BOD meeting.  Passed on a 5 – 0 vote.

Motion made by Kent Novak, seconded by Richard Holt to send the edited SAP 4205: Procurement Procedures for approval at the 1/28/10 BOD meeting.  Passed on a 5 – 0 vote.

The following SAPs have been assigned and edited documents should be sent to SAP committee members two days before the next scheduled meeting:

a.       SAP 5354.10: Equal Opportunity Policy – Chief Pomfret

b.      SAP 5355: HIPPA Policy – Jon Mitchell

c.       SAP 1110: Membership Application Procedures – Chief Pomfret

d.      SAP 7100: District Budgetary Process – Richard Holt

e.       SAP 1211: Duties of the Chief – Kent Novak

f.       SAP 1211.09: Duties of the Safety Officer – Chief Pomfret

g.       SAP 1620: Disciplinary Procedures – Steven Autieri Esq.

The next SAP Meeting is scheduled for Saturday, February 13, 2010 at 10:00am.

Motion made by Kent Novak to adjourn, seconded by Steve Autieri Esq. Meeting adjourned at 12:30pm on a 5 – 0 vote.
