Board of Directors, Kent Novak, Chairman
In regard to the proposed selling of the Western Coventry (Summit) Fire Station:
Since we border the station, we would like you to consider our requests;
We would not like to see the Summit Fire Station sold for the following
purposes:
1. Convenience store / gas station
2. A business that would be open late into the evening
3. A business that would allow loitering outside
4. Any business with loud noises
5. No Day Care operation
6. No vehicles or equipment to be permanently left outside
We would like to have the Large Oak Tree protected; they don't grown to that
size any
longer.
Leave the buffer of trees along our border, we use our porch and rear deck all
spring and
into late fall, the buffer of trees makes these locations that much more
enjoyable.
Has anyone on the Board of Directors looked into selling this above mentioned
property
to The Town of Coventry for the purpose of a Police Sub-station?
We have lived next to the Summit Station for 45 years and would like to know
that we
can enjoy our house/property in the future and have had only three occasions
that we
called and complained about noise at the station; therefore it has been a good
partnership.
Regards,
Arthur H. Lavoie
