Again the department was successful at covering all of our calls as well as providing coverage to Central Coventry. We also aided Central Coventry with a recent structure fire. Captain Guastini attended an evening EMS seminar anticipating receiving a grant for EMS equipment.
Safety Officer Autieri has begun annual testing of the firefighter turnout gear. Steve is following NFPA guidelines.
Three of the volunteers are continuing in EMT training. Another one of our EMT-B students passed the state N/C test. Two others that recently passed have received their licenses. This is now 5 from that class that have passed.
The department SOP package has been presented to me and the Deputy Chief for review. I read them and made a few recommendations. Steve Autieri and his committee spent many nights putting this package together. A job well done.
Respectfully Submitted,
