The Western Coventry Fire District (WCFD) is seeking bids for approximately 25 sets and/or components of Firefighter Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Components include coats, pants, boots, helmets, gloves, Nomex hoods, Nomex jumpsuits/coveralls, and flashlights (right angle rechargeable flashlight). Sealed bids must be received by May 9, 2008 and should be mailed or delivered to the WCFD District Clerk, 4661 Flat River Road, Greene, RI 02827. Permits from the building inspector are necessary for the
installation of any and all alternative fuel burning appliances.
Including, but not limited to wood, coal, pellet, corn, and any other fuels.
These permits and inspections are preferred by many insurance carriers.
For questions regarding older stoves, stoves that are currently installed, and
to obtain a permit for a new stove
